Minaret is beyond honored to present a rare Los Angeles appearance by legendary Brazilian guitarist and composer Toninho Horta on Tuesday, March 10th.
A foundational voice of Brazilian music and pioneer of the Clube de Esquina movement that emerged from Minas Gerais in the 1970s alongside Milton Nascimento & Lô Borges, Horta helped define a harmonic language that reshaped MPB and continues to influence generations of jazz musicians worldwide.
For the first time in decades, he returns for an intimate evening with friends at Lodge Room in Highland Park, featuring appearances from LA luminaries Pedro Martins, Henry Solomon, Daryl Johns, and more.
