In the 10 years since Next Thing’s release, Frankie Cosmos has toured the world, gone gold, changed bandmates multiple times, and developed sonically, while maintaining Greta Kline’s strong artistic voice. Next Thing has remained a potent collection of songs, some of which have been sprinkled into Frankie Cosmos’ set lists for the past decade. Now, for the first time since its release, the current line-up of Frankie Cosmos will perform the album in its entirety. They have also re-worked songs from their more recent catalogue through the lens of the Next Thing sound — a simplified drum kit, a single Casio keyboard, and a Danelectro guitar with no pedals. The tour dates are in support of the anniversary vinyl release: a remaster that includes 3 previously unreleased demos of songs from the album.
