Hello TDH Family, we wanted to reach out to you about our upcoming spring tour. We have spent the last week discussing this run internally and have come to the conclusion that it is best that we reschedule our dates to July/August of this year.
This conversation came up last week and since then, case counts in the USA have been continuing to trend downwards. We know this tour “can happen” and most likely could happen safely this spring.
However, over the last few years, our band has shifted in many ways. We are touring less and less each year. We have been spending more time at home with our families and have been making that a mission in our career prior to the pandemic.
With that said, we have decided, if we are going to tour less, we want to make sure each tour is one to remember. Even though the chances are low, we would hate to be forced to reschedule dates, have any fans get sick at our shows, and put a damper on what should be a fun experience for everyone involved.
Even though we can not predict what the future holds for live shows or if they will ever return to a full “normal”. We wanted to give ourselves and TDH Community a better chance to experience our new album & catalog live, in a way that feels as close to “normal” as possible.
It’s been close to 7 years since the release of a full-length album and we hope that by the time these shows are happening in the summer, we can all be singing along together with less concerns of the pandemic.
We love you all and thank you for your support. All current tickets will automatically be accepted for the new date/venue. If you can no longer make the date, you can request a refund at point of purchase.
In the meantime, we hope our new album #ANTIMAI will bridge the gap until we see you this summer. More information on that soon!
See you all soon,
The Dear Hunter
