Prepare to be transported. ZZK Records and misterpsychedelia are proud to present one of Colombia’s most powerful and poetic voices—Nidia Góngora—live at the Lodge Room in Los Angeles. On August 7, journey through Afro-Colombian folklore, Pacific rhythms, and lush, lyrical landscapes with a modern edge.

A Voice of the Pacific

Nidia Góngora is a revered singer, composer, and cultural torchbearer from Timbiquí, Colombia. Known for her commanding vocals and deep roots in traditional Pacific Coast music, she has helped shape a global conversation around Afro-Colombian identity. From her pioneering work with Grupo Canalón de Timbiquí to her genre-bending collaborations with Quantic, Góngora bridges worlds—melding marimbas and chants with dub, electronica, and poetry.

This will be a rare opportunity to witness her magic live, blending spiritual storytelling with rhythms that stir both soul and body.

An Intimate Evening of Ancestral Power

Expect hypnotic grooves, haunting harmonies, and a sonic ritual that defies borders. This is not just a concert—it’s a portal. One night only in Highland Park’s atmospheric Lodge Room.

About misterpsychedelia

misterpsychedelia is a rogue production house and creative studio operating on the fringes of mainstream culture—part live event architect, part analog filmmaker, part visual agitator. Born from the underground and raised on over-used vinyl, back-alley venues, and border-hopping sound systems.
